Annotations must be on to read the steps, but i’ll write them here for those who want it in text.

Step 1: You must have enough money to buy a house (25,000 for the mansion in solitude)
Step 2: Talk to the charecter that will sell you the house
Step 3: Quickly exit the conversation after agreeing to buy the house
Step 4: Sprint for the nearest container and deposit all your gold inside it.
Step 5: Wait for the key to be given to you, then collect your money again. You will keep all your gold.
Step 6: Admire your new abode
